Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Weston Mata started the match with the kick off. Ted Brand's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bronson Kent read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Ted Brand put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Bronson Kent. When Bonita Springs's Ted Brand in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sinaloa FC's goalie prevented a goal. Bronson Kent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Devon Burnett in the 10th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Weston Mata kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Frank Marks. That made the score 1-1 in the 15 minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Sinaloa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Devon Burnett came free, but Bronson Kent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Marks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Weston Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 27th minute, Byron Chen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Weston Mata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Sinaloa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ted Brand came free, but Bronson Kent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bronson Kent took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Sutherland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bronson Kent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Sutherland in the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute of the match Devon Burnett shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bronson Kent showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ted Brand in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bronson Kent saved Sinaloa FC from getting behind. Sinaloa FC's Bronson Kent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ted Brand in the 44th minute of play. After the first half Bonita Springs were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ted Brand was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Sinaloa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jasper Esparza to maneuver through the defense. 54 minutes into the game, Sinaloa FC's Weston Mata nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frank Marks made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Ted Brand in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bronson Kent, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jasper Esparza kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After 62 minutes, Byron Chen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bonita Springs and the Sinaloa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 62 played minutes Bonita Springs got a freekick which was hit by Byron Chen. If DeAngelo Givens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jasper Esparza hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Ted Brand who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Bronson Kent when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 75th minute, Devon Burnett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 77 minutes, Ted Brand made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Sinaloa FC's Bronson Kent tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 87 played minutes Sinaloa FC got a freekick which was hit by Quinton McCray. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ted Brand in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bronson Kent prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Bonita Springs supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bonita Springs would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
