Bennett Branch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Louis Schultz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bennett Branch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Donahue, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The supporters of anger management booed when Millvale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Lake didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Millvale fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Millvale's Edgar Oakley looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Edgar Donahue struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Bennett Branch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for anger management. In the 18th minute Louis Schultz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bennett Branch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bennett Branch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louis Schultz in the 19th minute of play. Louis Schultz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bennett Branch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Louis Schultz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bennett Branch was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a rather tough play, Millvale's DeAndre Fleming got a free kick in the 31st minute. Louis Schultz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Bennett Branch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kenny Spicer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robbie McKenna having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Donahue in the 39th minute of play forced Millvale's goalkeeper Bennett Branch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Norbert Bauman kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Robbie McKenna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgar Oakley in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kenny Spicer was the one to do the kick off. anger management's Robbie McKenna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenny Spicer in the 53rd minute of play. Kenny Spicer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Robbie McKenna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Kenny Spicer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Millvale's supporters rose to their feet, but Kenny Spicer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robbie McKenna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 62nd minute Edgar Oakley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robbie McKenna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Millvale's Edgar Oakley got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 76 minutes into the game, Louis Schultz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bennett Branch. Louis Schultz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Phillip Henson hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Millvale's goalkeeper Bennett Branch, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 94 minutes, Martin Lake managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Millvale's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Lake was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kenny Spicer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Robbie McKenna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. anger management walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
