West Town Plot's Colby Sams played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Connolly in the 33rd minute of play. Rodney Melendez hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Bridge City's Jospeh Burnett got a free kick in the 38th minute. Colby Sams made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adolfo Beckman in the 40th minute. Nathan Metz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. West Town Plot's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Bridge City had won, even though West Town Plot had held more of the ball.
