When Rene Dickens fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chesapeake Ranch Estates FC's protests and gave Rene Dickens a yellow card for diving instead. Rene Dickens hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 6th match minute, Azzurri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarod Barnhart to maneuver through the defense. Rene Dickens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Tad Stiles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chesapeake Ranch Estates FC's Juan Hoffman got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tad Stiles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alonso Parr went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 16 minutes into the match, Chesapeake Ranch Estates FC's Rene Dickens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tad Stiles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 18th match minute, Chesapeake Ranch Estates FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Hoffman to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Azzurri's A.J. Rubin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nolan Meredith narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alonso Parr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enoch Waddell hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Robert Courtney scored 1-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nolan Meredith, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 32nd minute, Enoch Waddell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the game, Chesapeake Ranch Estates FC's Enoch Waddell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tad Stiles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Alonso Parr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tad Stiles having to interfere. After some careless play in the Azzurri defense, Alonso Parr kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tad Stiles. The Azzurri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tad Stiles should have stopped the shot. The Azzurri players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chesapeake Ranch Estates FC were winning 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and A.J. Rubin made a kick off. Rene Dickens kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Alonso Parr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Chesapeake Ranch Estates FC's Eric Numbers got a free kick in the 66th minute. A.J. Rubin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Robert Courtney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Azzurri getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Andrew Gibbons hit a great ball. Tad Stiles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alonso Parr, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 91st minute Juan Hoffman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tad Stiles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Juan Hoffman came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Chesapeake Ranch Estates FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Hoffman couldn't finish the play. The Azzurri fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Chesapeake Ranch Estates FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
