In the 51st minute of the match, Graig Watson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Chris Beal was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Derek Cleveland to make the kick off. 59 minutes into the game, Jacques Bowden was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jennings AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Erma the free kick. Genaro Locke didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Dwayne Nichols was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Erma's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jennings AFC the free kick. Erma's Chris Beal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Korey Lucas in the 98th minute of play. Erma's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
