In the 4th match minute, Apathy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ward Rouse to maneuver through the defense. Milton Davenport stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robin Robles's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. After a rather tough play, Apathy FC's Dwight Cooper got a free kick in the 8th minute. Jed Bright sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ward Rouse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute, Ward Rouse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 14 minutes, Tyrone Sweeney mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Apathy FC and the North Marysville players grew even worse after the yellow card. Brock Busby scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cezary Koczara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Shannon Ernst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, North Marysville's Milan Beasley got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Shawn Grover received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Cezary Koczara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Apathy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Brock Busby came free, but Cezary Koczara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Apathy FC's Benito Rivers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Milton Davenport narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 34th minute Jed Bright shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cezary Koczara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Milton Davenport took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tyrone Sweeney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Apathy FC's goalkeeper Cezary Koczara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jed Bright. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jed Bright in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cezary Koczara saved Apathy FC from getting behind. 40 minutes into the match, Apathy FC's goalkeeper Cezary Koczara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Shannon Ernst. Apathy FC's Cezary Koczara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jed Bright in the 46th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robin Robles to strike the kick off in the second half. If Jed Bright had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Weston Fair in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cezary Koczara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Milton Davenport managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Apathy FC's Benito Rivers fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Jed Bright had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ward Rouse was shown his second yellow card after 73 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 73rd match minute, Apathy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ward Rouse to maneuver through the defense. Weston Fair took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cezary Koczara. Cezary Koczara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Jed Bright might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cezary Koczara. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jed Bright ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 86thth minute of the game Shawn Grover who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Apathy FC's Cezary Koczara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brock Busby in the 88th minute of play forced Apathy FC's goalkeeper Cezary Koczara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Weston Fair received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Cezary Koczara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brock Busby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jarrett Marcus fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored North Marysville's protests and gave Jarrett Marcus a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Apathy FC booed when North Marysville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarrett Marcus didn't get a good kick on the ball. North Marysville's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
