Oren Boyd succeeded in the game's 16th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Andrew Coats charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andrew Coats the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Juventus booed when Mount Josh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrew Coats didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chuck Bell kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Danny Evans managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juventus's supporters rose to their feet, but Danny Evans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vince Durham breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Cain in the 27th minute of play forced Mount Josh's goalkeeper Vince Durham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Reed Eckert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Donnie Rhodes in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ruben Hopper, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Reed Eckert came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Mount Josh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reed Eckert couldn't finish the play. Ruben Hopper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reed Eckert in the 41st minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Donnie Rhodes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute of the match Timmy Eckert shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ruben Hopper showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Donnie Rhodess short, quick shot in the 50thth minute got Ruben Hopper to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Danny Evans stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Roman Cain received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vince Durham came out and tried to block the shot, but Roman Cain slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 53rd minute. Donnie Rhodes struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Ruben Hopper didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mount Josh. Danny Evans struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Vince Durham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juventus. Vince Durham made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Roman Cain sent off a good shot on target. Mount Josh's Vince Durham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danny Evans in the 68th minute of play. Reed Eckert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Hopper having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Andrew Coats hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 76 played minutes Juventus got a freekick which was hit by Roman Cain. Antonio Stuart's late challenge caught a Juventus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 86th minute, Reed Eckert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Denis Paquette's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Vince Durham skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Juventus were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Mount Josh's much stronger midfield.
