Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rufus Bannister started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Reed Eckert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mount Josh's supporters rose to their feet, but Reed Eckert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waldo Lozano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Mount Josh booed when Calito Bak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ward Wolfe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th match minute, Calito Bak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richie Patel to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Calito Bak's zone, Donnie Rhodes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waldo Lozano came out of the goal and Donnie Rhodes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorge Doty kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Rufus Bannister shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vince Durham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Boyce Bowles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Putnam kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Reed Eckert stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Donnie Rhodes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Waldo Lozano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Waldo Lozano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donnie Rhodes, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Rufus Bannister received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Vince Durham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boyce Bowless short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Vince Durham to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Donnie Rhodes came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Mount Josh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donnie Rhodes couldn't finish the play. Donnie Rhodes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waldo Lozano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. If Reed Eckert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andy Courtney kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Reed Eckert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute Donnie Rhodes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldo Lozano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andy Courtney hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. If Reed Eckert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Calito Bak players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Mount Josh from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
