Ethan Rutherford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Ruben Hopper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juventus's Ruben Hopper proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Juventus from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Juventus's Ruben Hopper got control of the ball when Ethan Rutherford tried to sneak it across the goal line. Craig Tillman struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Alfredo Whitley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juventus. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Cain in the 27th minute of play forced Fostoria AFC's goalkeeper Alfredo Whitley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30thth minute of the game Craig Tillman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fostoria AFC's Alfredo Whitley was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stanton Ransom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Hopper having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Roman Cain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Stanton Ransom took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Ruben Hopper to make any attempt to save it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stanton Ransom was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Michael Cadena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fostoria AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juventus the free kick. After a rather tough play, Fostoria AFC's Michael Cadena got a free kick in the 53rd minute. From close distance Roman Cain pressed in the 2-1 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 55 minutes into the game. After 58 played minutes Fostoria AFC got a freekick which was hit by Michael Cadena. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Glen Layton during the 59th minute. After 77 minutes, Garret Thacker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fostoria AFC and the Juventus players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 77 played minutes Fostoria AFC got a freekick which was hit by Garret Thacker. The supporters of Juventus booed when Fostoria AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Cadena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ethan Rutherford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olin Pittman was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 97th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Juventus players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fostoria AFC.
