Deshawn Mott was slow to take the kick. During this time Chicago Knights's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Chicago Knights's corner Deshawn Mott fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Claude Doe quite easily take care of the ball. In the 10th minute, Marvin Henley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute, Deshawn Mott sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and flasheros F.C's Claude Doe didn't even have to move. Frankie Wolff who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Claude Doe when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Reynaldo Redding's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claude Doe was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Reynaldo Redding received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Claude Doe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Frankie Wolff had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claude Doe. flasheros F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frankie Wolff was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Reynaldo Redding fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claude Doe having to interfere. In the 31st minute Reynaldo Redding shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claude Doe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frankie Wolff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Claude Doe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, flasheros F.C's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Frankie Wolff fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Reynaldo Redding, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 36 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Claude Doe was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Reynaldo Redding fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claude Doe having to interfere. Frankie Wolff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Reynaldo Redding had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Claude Doe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Redding, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Claude Doe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frankie Wolff's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. After a rather tough play, Chicago Knights's Oren Parra got a free kick in the 66th minute. Kevin Hartman struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Winston Morgan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for flasheros F.C. After 78 played minutes, Chicago Knights's Deshawn Mott shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Claude Doe came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chicago Knights reached it. When Chicago Knights's Reynaldo Redding in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rich Hodge during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 92 played minutes Chicago Knights got a freekick which was hit by Rich Hodge. Drew Gallardo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Winston Morgan. Chicago Knights's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Chicago Knights players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
