After 2 minutes, Dudley Davila mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malakas FC and the flasheros F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Malakas FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Dudley Davila hit a great ball. 4 minutes into the game, Tuan Ashby cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Landon Puckett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 8 minutes into the match, Malakas FC's Neil Pierre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claude Doe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 12th minute, Malakas FC's Neil Pierre ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Claude Doe. Claude Doe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 17th minute Neil Pierre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claude Doe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claude Doe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Blaine Tyler in the 19th minute. Blaine Tyler in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Claude Doe, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Neil Pierre scored 2-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claude Doe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Neil Pierre was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dudley Davila in the 53rd minute of play forced flasheros F.C's goalkeeper Claude Doe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. flasheros F.C's Claude Doe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blaine Tyler in the 55th minute of play. After 60 played minutes Malakas FC got a freekick which was hit by Calvin Weiss. After a rather tough play, flasheros F.C's Marvin Henley got a free kick in the 64th minute. Claude Doe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blaine Tyler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, Malakas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Hartman came free, but Landon Puckett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Malakas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leon Bouchard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Monroe Gates's late challenge caught a flasheros F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Monroe Gates helped the player get up and apologised. Monroe Gates kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Malakas FC's goalkeeper Landon Puckett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tuan Ashby. Blaine Tyler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claude Doe having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in flasheros F.C's zone, Blaine Tyler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claude Doe came out of the goal and Blaine Tyler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 89th play minutes Neil Pierre shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Claude Doe and just under the crossbar into goal. Claude Doe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blaine Tyler in the 93rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in flasheros F.C's zone, Neil Pierre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claude Doe came out of the goal and Neil Pierre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
