Port Aransas FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Bradley Byrne 5 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Marco Roland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raymundo Baird blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilhelm Hermansson having to make a save. 20 minutes into the match, John Goodson notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Swiftyville's Wilhelm Hermansson. Wilhelm Hermansson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. John Goodson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raymundo Baird fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilhelm Hermansson having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling John Goodson in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilhelm Hermansson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th minute, Bailey Mays hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilhelm Hermansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Goodson in the 31st minute of the match. John Goodson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Wilhelm Hermansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Raymundo Baird managed to get in a good position for a shot. Port Aransas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Raymundo Baird was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilhelm Hermansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. John Goodson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilhelm Hermansson having to interfere. Wilhelm Hermansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Goodson in the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th match minute, Port Aransas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wyatt Hodges to maneuver through the defense. Wilhelm Hermansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raymundo Baird in the 44th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Bradley Byrne might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Al Carson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bradley Byrne ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dave Ashby during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dave Ashby hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Bradley Byrne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. John Goodson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilhelm Hermansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Goodson in the 77th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Marco Roland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Swiftyville fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Despite being the better team, Port Aransas FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
