Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Billy Jenkins started the match with the kick off. In the 9th minute of the match, Billy Jenkins tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Robby Cummings saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Daren Avila hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. When Rodrick Frederick fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Downingtown's protests and gave Rodrick Frederick a yellow card for diving instead. Rodrick Frederick hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Robert Eddy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robby Cummings read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. 2-0 became the score in the 14th minute when Robert Eddy elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Downingtown's Palmer Wheeler in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Childersburg FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Childersburg FC's zone, Palmer Wheeler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donald Brandt came out of the goal and Palmer Wheeler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Palmer Wheeler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Rodrick Frederick ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Donald Brandt was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Rodrick Frederick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donald Brandt having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Rodrick Frederick got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Downingtown's Daren Avila nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Donald Brandt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. 44 minutes into the match, Downingtown's goal looked a bit too open when Billy Jenkins came free, but Robby Cummings reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robby Cummings made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Robert Eddy sent off a good shot on target. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Palmer Wheeler was the one to do the kick off. After 56 played minutes Downingtown got a freekick which was hit by Leland Lancaster. 58 minutes into the game, Pascal Alston was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Childersburg FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Downingtown the free kick. In the 58th match minute, Childersburg FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascal Alston to maneuver through the defense. 67 minutes into the match, Downingtown's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Eddy came free, but Robby Cummings reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pascal Alston hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Billy Jenkins struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Robby Cummings didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Childersburg FC. The supporters of Downingtown booed when Childersburg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josef Dozier didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Palmer Wheeler in the 86th minute of play forced Childersburg FC's goalkeeper Donald Brandt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Josef Dozier's late challenge caught a Downingtown's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Josef Dozier helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th match minute, Childersburg FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josef Dozier to maneuver through the defense. Rodrick Frederick succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-4 in the 88th playminute. 93 minutes into the match, Downingtown's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Eddy came free, but Robby Cummings reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
