Bryan Harman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dallas Holbrook, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Curt Lay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bryan Harman. Royal winners's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Curt Lay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Hal Velez was slow to take the kick. During this time Royal winners's players had a chance to rest. Royal winners's Hal Velez was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonas Caballero in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Bryan Harman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Napoleon Hill, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. If Eldon McClendon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 63 minutes, Merlin McGill managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Royal winners's supporters crossed their fingers, but Merlin McGill was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeffrey Hollandsworth kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Jonas Caballero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merlin McGill in the 68th minute of the match. Jonas Caballero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eldon McClendon in the 70th minute of play. Bryan Harman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Curt Lay, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Wiley Boyles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dallas Holbrook got free with Bryan Harman in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Las Vegas Futbol Club eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
