Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark Tide's Jose McNair started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bay Minette's goalkeeper Edgar Blackwell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Darnell Mercer charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Darnell Mercer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Bay Minette getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Darnell Mercer hit a great ball. Edgar Blackwell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mitchell Alexander in the 9th minute of play. Rolland Dawson took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jackson Woodward. Jackson Woodward dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Rico Lacey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gerardo Begay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jackson Woodward tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 37 minutes, Jose McNair managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dark Tide's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose McNair was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edgar Blackwell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rico Lacey, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 43 played minutes, Bay Minette's Darnell Mercer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jackson Woodward came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bay Minette reached it. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Gerardo Begay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Jackson Woodward tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rico Lacey got free with Edgar Blackwell in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Duke Hopper kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Rico Lacey succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 64th playminute. In the 67th minute Gerardo Begay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jackson Woodward saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bay Minette's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Jose McNair scored to the left of an out of position Edgar Blackwell, making the score, 1-2. A collision led to Bay Minette getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Norberto Mendez hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the match, Dark Tide's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Begay came free, but Jackson Woodward reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jackson Woodward made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Begay in the 81st minute of play. Rolland Dawson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose McNair in the 93rd minute of play forced Bay Minette's goalkeeper Edgar Blackwell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Rico Lacey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dark Tide's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rico Lacey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dark Tide's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
