Joseph Marsh blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rex Strickland having to make a save. Ross Livingston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Saul Frederick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joseph Marsh struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Rex Strickland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Independent Outdoor Union. Raphael Rivas hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joseph Marsh in the 25th minute of play forced Besëlidhja Lezhë's goalkeeper Rex Strickland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ross Livingston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rex Strickland having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saul Frederick in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck A.J. Woodruff prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Saul Frederick managed to get in a good position for a shot. Besëlidhja Lezhë's supporters rose to their feet, but Saul Frederick was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. A.J. Woodruff breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Besëlidhja Lezhë's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Joseph Marsh scored to the left of an out of position Rex Strickland, making the score, 0-2. A.J. Woodruff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Clifford, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute, Saul Frederick got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Saul Frederick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without A.J. Woodruff having to interfere. Rex Strickland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph Marsh, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Saul Frederick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without A.J. Woodruff having to interfere. Independent Outdoor Union's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
