Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Rudolf Culver started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute Joe Atwood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Terrence Murry saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Edgewater SC's Timothy Irwin got a free kick in the 10th minute. Owen Crain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudolf Culver, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Rudolf Culver got in the 14th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Owen Crain handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. When bulldogs fc's A.J. Schulz in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Edgewater SC's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Joe Atwood managed to get in a good position for a shot. Edgewater SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Joe Atwood was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Terrence Murry breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jason Eubanks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Terrence Murry having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Rudolf Culver in the 29th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 36th minute, Ivan Cahill got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If A.J. Schulz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rudolf Culver in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Owen Crain saved Edgewater SC from getting behind. After 44 minutes of play, bulldogs fc's A.J. Schulz made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Owen Crain was left in no man's land by his defense there! The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

A.J. Schulz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Owen Crain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clark Strickland was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 62 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Edgewater SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! Edgewater SC:s Owen Crain showed great skill when he stopped Thurman Todd:s penalty. Thurman Todd took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Owen Crain. Owen Crain dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 70th minute A.J. Schulz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Owen Crain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, Rickey Corbett recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Terrence Murry. Rickey Corbett showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. 89 minutes into the game, bulldogs fc's Rudolf Culver nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Owen Crain made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. In the 97th minute, Rudolf Culver got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgewater SC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because bulldogs fc had won, even though Edgewater SC had held more of the ball.
