The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonathon Winslow got free with Sammy Chang in the 2nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sebastian Quinn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Sammy Chang made a huge save. After 5 played minutes Okolona got a freekick which was hit by Fletcher Muniz. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Willis Landreth in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sammy Chang saved Okolona from getting behind. Sammy Chang stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Willis Landreth's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Sebastian Quinn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Marlon Dupree managed to get in a good position for a shot. Minor's supporters rose to their feet, but Marlon Dupree was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sammy Chang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Delarosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Todd Madrid, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. With his leg Sammy Chang managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Minor's Willis Landreth fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Jim Lofton fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Okolona's protests and gave Jim Lofton a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daren Walls in the 28th minute of play forced Minor's goalkeeper Tomas Delarosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 30 in the game by Willis Landreth from a close distance when the talented Sammy Chang managed to make a qualified save. Okolona's players were relieved. In the 57thth minute of the game Willis Landreth who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Okolona's Sammy Chang was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Okolona's zone, Jonathon Winslow stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sammy Chang came out of the goal and Jonathon Winslow tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sammy Chang stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Willis Landreth's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Willis Landreth blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sammy Chang having to make a save. In the 67th minute, Sebastian Quinn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Willis Landreth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 78th match minute, Okolona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fletcher Muniz to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute, Ward Aranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sammy Chang stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Willis Landreth's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. In the 89thth minute of the game Willis Landreth who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Okolona's Sammy Chang was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Minor were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
