Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Watsontown's Willis McCord started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Winston Ladner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rueben Olson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. livermore sc's Doug Haley got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, livermore sc's Eliseo Mattson got a free kick in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Watsontown's Willis McCord sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Winston Ladner narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rueben Olson took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Winston Ladner. Winston Ladner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Edgardo Bowser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Kajdasz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Doug Haley in the 33rd minute. Sebastian Kajdasz made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Ernie Braswell sent off a good shot on target. In the 44th match minute, Watsontown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Solomon Patrick to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Kajdasz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 46th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Kelly Emerson. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgardo Bowser to make the kick off. Leon Warren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Kajdasz having to interfere. Leon Warren charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leon Warren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leon Warren hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. When Solomon Patrick fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Watsontown's protests and gave Solomon Patrick a yellow card for diving instead. After 58 played minutes Watsontown got a freekick which was hit by Solomon Patrick. When Edgardo Bowser came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the livermore sc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgardo Bowser couldn't finish the play. Sebastian Kajdasz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Bowser, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Edgardo Bowser notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Watsontown's Sebastian Kajdasz. Sebastian Kajdasz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. livermore sc's Winston Ladner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save livermore sc from getting a goal against them. In the 76th match minute, Watsontown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Beal to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the match, Watsontown's goal looked a bit too open when Doug Haley came free, but Sebastian Kajdasz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 87 minutes, Willis McCord managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Watsontown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Willis McCord was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of livermore sc booed when Watsontown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Todd didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Solomon Patrick was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played. After 92 played minutes Watsontown got a freekick which was hit by Solomon Patrick.
