Raul Villalobos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdul Vaughn in the 3rd minute of the match. A collision led to Summerset Aisle getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Dillon Ybarra hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, Summerset Aisle's goal looked a bit too open when Gerald McRae came free, but Raul Villalobos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 26 played minutes RiverCity Gamblers got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Dunbar. A hard shot by Clinton McNeal from long distance, 28 minutes into the match, got Ismael Kline's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 34th minute, Bradly Root made a precise shot to the right of Raul Villalobos. Summerset Aisle's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Trent Harding fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Kline having to interfere. A collision led to Summerset Aisle getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Chance Anderson hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The supporters of Summerset Aisle booed when RiverCity Gamblers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdul Vaughn didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 56 played minutes Summerset Aisle got a freekick which was hit by Forrest Randolph. Raul Villalobos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradly Root in the 63rd minute of play. Dillon Ybarra lost his temper 65 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 64 minutes into the game, one of Summerset Aisle:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 74th minute, Bradly Root got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Eric Vernon took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Raul Villalobos to make any attempt to save it. After recieving a nice pass, RiverCity Gamblers's Isidro Hewitt tried to score from far away in the 85th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Eric Vernon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Raul Villalobos. That made the score 0-5 in the 87 minute of play. If Tyrone Zapata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raul Villalobos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Casey Michel in the 94th minute. Tyrone Zapata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Kline having to interfere. In the 99th minute Bradly Root shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Villalobos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched RiverCity Gamblers eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
