Manchester FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Austin Swenson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raul Quintero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Austin Swenson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Johnathon Root fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Quintero having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Crystal Falls FC's Austin Swenson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raul Quintero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Johnathon Root managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crystal Falls FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Johnathon Root was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raul Quintero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Matthews during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 40 played minutes Manchester FC got a freekick which was hit by Juan Matthews. Johnathon Root sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Miguel Lyon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Perry Browning could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Rigoberto Felder made a huge save. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Perry Browning to make the kick off. If Jarrod Landreth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raul Quintero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Austin Swenson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rigoberto Felder didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abraham Hills went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. A hard shot by Weldon Mallory from long distance, 70 minutes into the match, got Raul Quintero's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After some careless play in the Crystal Falls FC defense, Stacy Hudson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rigoberto Felder. The Crystal Falls FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rigoberto Felder should have stopped the shot. Stacy Hudson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rigoberto Felder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Raul Quintero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnathon Root in the 77th minute of play. If J.P. Barnes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Manchester FC's Abraham Hills got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Austin Swenson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Quintero having to interfere. Johnathon Root succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-2 in the 89th playminute. The supporters of Manchester FC booed when Crystal Falls FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommie Connors didn't get a good kick on the ball.
