Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Porter Poirier took the kick off in the first half of the match. Walnut Hill FC were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Athetic's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gerard Jackson took the corner. Gerard Jackson made a great header on Walnut Hill FC's corner, it was just that Athetic's Allen Raines managed to reach the ball for a save. After 14 played minutes, Athetic's Pablo Atwood shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ray Spencer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Athetic reached it. In the 17th minute, Rusty Marin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute of the match Kasey Rocha shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ray Spencer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Ramon Wright was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Athetic's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Walnut Hill FC the free kick. In the 19th minute, Ramon Wright hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Porter Poirier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Walnut Hill FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Porter Poirier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Allen Raines breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 24 minutes into the match, Mark Willoughby had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ray Spencer. Walnut Hill FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mark Willoughby was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Rusty Marin kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Mark Willoughby put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ray Spencer. Ray Spencer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mark Willoughby went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Ramon Wright in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ray Spencer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ray Spencer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Willoughby in the 43rd minute of the match. The supporters of Walnut Hill FC booed when Athetic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sung Bender didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mark Willoughby to strike the kick off in the second half. The attack was good, but when Mark Willoughby in the 61st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 66 minutes into the match, Athetic's goal looked a bit too open when Wilbur Rossi came free, but Allen Raines reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Sung Bender hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Allen Raines acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 72nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gerard Jackson. In the 73rd minute Mark Willoughby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ray Spencer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pablo Atwood hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Walnut Hill FC's Porter Poirier got a free kick in the 76th minute. When Porter Poirier came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Walnut Hill FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Porter Poirier couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Athetic's zone, Porter Poirier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Allen Raines came out of the goal and Porter Poirier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 82 played minutes Athetic got a freekick which was hit by Kasey Rocha. When Vince Whitaker fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Walnut Hill FC's protests and gave Vince Whitaker a yellow card for diving instead. Vince Whitaker kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Ray Spencer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dante Link went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Mark Willoughby managed to get in a good position for a shot. Athetic's supporters rose to their feet, but Mark Willoughby was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ray Spencer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mark Willoughby in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ray Spencer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 93 minutes, Bobby Lujan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Walnut Hill FC and the Athetic players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th minute, Bobby Lujan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Dante Link managed to get in a good position for a shot. Athetic's supporters rose to their feet, but Dante Link was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ray Spencer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th minute of the match Pablo Atwood sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ray Spencer skillfully saved the ball. When the referee ended the match the Athetic players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
