In the 3rd minute, Ramon Wright ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Shelton Dunham was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Dante Link could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Shelton Dunham made a huge save. Shelton Dunham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Link, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Earl Kim hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After 11 minutes of play, Minster's Colin Haas made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Allen Raines was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Minster's Javier Mercer got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 16th minute Dante Link shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shelton Dunham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Athetic's Dante Link ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Shelton Dunham. Shelton Dunham yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. After 23 played minutes Minster got a freekick which was hit by Javier Mercer. Allen Raines made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Colin Haas in the 29th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramon Wright got free with Shelton Dunham in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mark Willoughby struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Shelton Dunham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Athetic. 37 minutes into the match, Minster's goalkeeper Shelton Dunham had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mark Willoughby. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Javier Mercer during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th match minute, Minster was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Mercer to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Athetic getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Sung Bender hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Mercer in the 47th minute of play forced Athetic's goalkeeper Allen Raines to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonard Connor to strike the kick off in the second half. Athetic's Allen Raines played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boyce Sheldon in the 55th minute of play. Shelton Dunham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Link, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Athetic fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Athetic's Mark Willoughby looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Minster getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Earl Kim hit a great ball. After 65 minutes, Mark Willoughby mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Athetic and the Minster players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Minster booed when Athetic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Willoughby didn't get a good kick on the ball. Allen Raines made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Mercer in the 66th minute of play. Colin Haas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Allen Raines made a huge save. Shelton Dunham didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Athetic's Mark Willoughby shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-1 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 73rdth minute of the game Mark Willoughby who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Minster's Shelton Dunham was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dante Link struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Shelton Dunham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Athetic. Mark Willoughby recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Leonard Connor came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Minster fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonard Connor couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boyce Sheldon in the 89th minute of play forced Athetic's goalkeeper Allen Raines to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramon Wright sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th match minute, Minster was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vince Cisneros to maneuver through the defense. Athetic were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Minster for a fine match.
