Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute, Douglass Minton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ed Alfaro's late challenge caught a Lindenhurst Hurricanes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ed Alfaro helped the player get up and apologised. Ed Alfaro hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Douglass Minton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Dan Pringle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Douglass Minton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Albert Fink tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Cason James had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Trey Young. West Dundee's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cason James was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Douglass Minton struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Albert Fink didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for West Dundee. Ed Alfaro scored 1-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Albert Fink, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Trey Young made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ferdinand Winston in the 41st minute. After a rather tough play, Lindenhurst Hurricanes's Juan Holden got a free kick in the 44th minute. Casey Davison was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 45th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cason James to strike the kick off in the second half. Albert Fink took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ed Alfaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jospeh Malone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Albert Fink tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute, West Dundee's Douglass Minton ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Albert Fink. Albert Fink yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ned Warren during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 69 played minutes West Dundee got a freekick which was hit by Ned Warren. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cason James in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Trey Young saved West Dundee from getting behind. Ed Alfaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rocco Ingram charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rocco Ingram the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ed Alfaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Fink having to interfere. If Douglass Minton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ed Alfaro got free with Albert Fink in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Douglass Minton managed to get in a good position for a shot. West Dundee's supporters rose to their feet, but Douglass Minton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albert Fink breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle sounded West Dundee left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lindenhurst Hurricanes.
