Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Arnoldo Castillo got the match started through his kick off. Ahmed Stanton hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After 7 played minutes Djurgårdens IF got a freekick which was hit by Tracy Ashby. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Castillo in the 12th minute of play forced Lindenhurst Hurricanes's goalkeeper Albert Fink to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Djurgårdens IF fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Djurgårdens IF's Domingo Sosa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Juan Holden charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juan Holden the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Djurgårdens IF booed when Lindenhurst Hurricanes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Holden didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Holden got his second yellow card in the match during the 22nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After some careless play in the Lindenhurst Hurricanes defense, Arnoldo Castillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albert Fink. The Lindenhurst Hurricanes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albert Fink should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Lindenhurst Hurricanes getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Dan Pringle hit a great ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Domingo Sosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Djurgårdens IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingo Sosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute, Ahmed Stanton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ahmed Stanton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 45 minutes, Ferdinand Winston managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lindenhurst Hurricanes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdinand Winston was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnoldo Castillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albert Fink read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 49th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ferdinand Winston made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Djurgårdens IF's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinand Winston came free, but Mohammed Altman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 59 minutes, Cyrus Douglas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Djurgårdens IF and the Lindenhurst Hurricanes players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Lindenhurst Hurricanes booed when Djurgårdens IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cyrus Douglas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmed Stanton's late challenge caught a Djurgårdens IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmed Stanton helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Lindenhurst Hurricanes's zone, Arnoldo Castillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albert Fink came out of the goal and Arnoldo Castillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Cason James fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lindenhurst Hurricanes's protests and gave Cason James a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st minute, Cason James hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Lindenhurst Hurricanes getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Ahmed Stanton hit a great ball. Albert Fink showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Castillo in the 85th minute of the match. If Cason James had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ferdinand Winston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohammed Altman having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antony Pickens during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 89 played minutes Djurgårdens IF got a freekick which was hit by Antony Pickens. The Lindenhurst Hurricanes supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Djurgårdens IF's performance. The match ended with a win for Djurgårdens IF.
