Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) West Dundee's Ed Alfaro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Douglass Minton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hayden Kitchen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trey Young having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Douglass Minton could shoot a difficult shot in the 13th minute, which Silas Sanford however easily saved by the left post. Douglass Minton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Silas Sanford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Hayden Kitchen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leaders FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 21 minutes into the game, Leaders FC's Peter Hufnagel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Trey Young made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 24 minutes into the match, Leaders FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ed Alfaro came free, but Silas Sanford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute there was a penalty for Leaders FC. Andy Dyer stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Trey Young. 0-3. Hayden Kitchen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Douglass Minton managed to get in a good position for a shot. West Dundee's supporters rose to their feet, but Douglass Minton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silas Sanford breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andy Dyer hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Walker Dougherty missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 46 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Silas Sanford right hand side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hayden Kitchen made a kick off. Trey Young took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hayden Kitchen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, West Dundee's Trey Young got control of the ball when Peter Hufnagel tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 58 played minutes Hayden Kitchen rounded West Dundee's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-4. The supporters of Leaders FC booed when West Dundee was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jospeh Malone didn't get a good kick on the ball. Trey Young made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Peter Hufnagel sent off a good shot on target. Trey Young took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hayden Kitchen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute Leaders FC were awarded a corner. Andy Dyer went to the cornerflag to take it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Justin Beltran during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 70th minute, Justin Beltran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. West Dundee's Douglass Minton got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 79 played minutes Leaders FC got a freekick which was hit by Justin Beltran. After a rather tough play, Leaders FC's Justin Beltran got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 84 minutes into the game, Peter Hufnagel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Trey Young was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Douglass Minton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silas Sanford having to interfere. After having played for 96 minutes, Peter Hufnagel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leaders FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter Hufnagel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Leaders FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Leaders FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
