Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Winchester's zone, Russell Ziegler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerrod Patel came out of the goal and Russell Ziegler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Winchester's goalkeeper Jerrod Patel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alfredo Draper took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jerrod Patel. Jerrod Patel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 26 minutes into the match, Dearborn AFC's Kurtis Dickey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jerrod Patel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Lucas Vasquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, Winchester's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Bentley came free, but Jerrod Patel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Winchester's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alfredo Draper was slow to take the kick. During this time Dearborn AFC's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Winchester getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Elvis Cohen hit a great ball. Jerrod Patel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredo Draper's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Jerrod Patel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Vasquez in the 35th minute of the match. Winchester's Jerrod Patel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurtis Dickey in the 37th minute of play. Russell Ziegler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerrod Patel having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfredo Draper made a kick off. David Fontenot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Tracy, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 60th minute, Jospeh Price left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Winchester fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The audience was convinced that Jospeh Price's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Fontenot was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Alfredo Draper received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jerrod Patel came out and tried to block the shot, but Alfredo Draper slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 68th minute. In the 76th minute, Russell Ziegler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute, Sheldon Nichols left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Winchester fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2.
