Raymundo Haas might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enrico Di Florio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raymundo Haas ran back to his position shaking his head. Emmitt Khan charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emmitt Khan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Albania FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Emmitt Khan hit a great ball. When Roger Bonds came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Cypress fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roger Bonds couldn't finish the play. Albania FC's Enrico Di Florio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chu Mo Yong in the 21st minute of play. Jose Longoria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emmitt Khan, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Cypress's Jose Longoria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emmitt Khan in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Cypress was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lincoln Herbert to maneuver through the defense. Maximino Egoitz hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Enrico Di Florio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chu Mo Yong, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Enrico Di Florio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lincoln Herbert in the 34th minute of play. Lincoln Herbert charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Albania FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emmitt Khan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute Wesley Britton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Longoria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Albania FC's goal looked a bit too open when Chu Mo Yong came free, but Enrico Di Florio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 65 minutes, Wesley Britton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Albania FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wesley Britton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enrico Di Florio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chu Mo Yong in the 71st minute of play. Roger Bonds received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Enrico Di Florio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Cypress getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Roger Bonds hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emmitt Khan in the 83rd minute of play forced Cypress's goalkeeper Jose Longoria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Albania FC's Hayden Foreman got a free kick in the 86th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Cypress's goal looked a bit too open when Wesley Britton came free, but Jose Longoria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Cypress's zone, Emmitt Khan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jose Longoria came out of the goal and Emmitt Khan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wesley Britton in the 94th minute of play forced Cypress's goalkeeper Jose Longoria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Deon Lang during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cypress booed when Albania FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deon Lang didn't get a good kick on the ball.
