The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bronson Fitzgerald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stacey Weaver in the 11th minute of the match. Emrullah Ergüleç scored 2-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bronson Fitzgerald, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bronson Fitzgerald didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Wichita Regulators's Stacey Weaver shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Bronson Fitzgerald made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stacey Weaver in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Stacey Weaver dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bronson Fitzgerald, 4-0. Vince Cleveland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcelo Gröhe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jack Baggett in the 26th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, Wichita Regulators's Stacey Weaver nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bronson Fitzgerald made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. 35 minutes into the match, Clayton Vazquez notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Wichita Regulators's Marcelo Gröhe. Marcelo Gröhe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Santiago Gillespie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

In the 61st minute, Stacey Weaver left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wichita Regulators fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Bronson Fitzgerald came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Wichita Regulators's Stacey Weaver. But to his dismay, Stacey Weaver quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. Bronson Fitzgerald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stacey Weaver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Simon Patten's late challenge caught a Wichita Regulators's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simon Patten helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd match minute, Longview Heights was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Patten to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Wichita Regulators's Bradley Butler got a free kick in the 79th minute. Wichita Regulators's Marcelo Gröhe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Wichita Regulators from getting a goal against them. Stacey Weaver might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bronson Fitzgerald. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stacey Weaver ran back to his position shaking his head. Stacey Weaver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Bronson Fitzgerald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, Adrian Aznar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wichita Regulators's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Longview Heights the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Wichita Regulators's zone, Santiago Gillespie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Gröhe came out of the goal and Santiago Gillespie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wichita Regulators were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Longview Heights for a fine match.
