Monte Ledford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thurman Cash in the 4th minute of the match. Power Soccer Best Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BEST FC the free kick. After 6 played minutes Power Soccer Best Club got a freekick which was hit by Wilber Eastman. 8 minutes into the match, Power Soccer Best Club's goalkeeper Ken Givens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stanley Gray. Ken Givens was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Bob Reagan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bob Reagan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Monte Ledford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thurman Cash in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Rolland Pike had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Monte Ledford. BEST FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rolland Pike was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Stanley Gray put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ken Givens. Monte Ledford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolland Pike in the 20th minute of play. Caleb Baldwin hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 33rd minute by Stanley Gray got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Monte Ledford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thurman Cash, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute Power Soccer Best Club were awarded a corner. Mark Griffin went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Power Soccer Best Club's corner Mark Griffin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Monte Ledford quite easily take care of the ball. After 40 minutes of play, Power Soccer Best Club's Kerry Agoos made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Monte Ledford was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 45th minute, Rickey Cummings made a precise shot to the right of Monte Ledford. BEST FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kerry Agoos made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Power Soccer Best Club's Thurman Cash dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. Monte Ledford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kerry Agoos in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kerry Agoos in the 55th minute of play forced BEST FC's goalkeeper Monte Ledford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57 played minutes BEST FC got a freekick which was hit by Caleb Baldwin. After 58 played minutes, Power Soccer Best Club's Mark Griffin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Monte Ledford came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Power Soccer Best Club reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tyrone Matson during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th minute Stanley Gray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ken Givens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, BEST FC's goalkeeper Monte Ledford had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilber Eastman. Tyrone Matson kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Power Soccer Best Club's goal looked a bit too open when Bob Reagan came free, but Ken Givens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Power Soccer Best Club's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
