Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ronny Cummins started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind INTER MIAMI's goalkeeper Monty Pepper, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 5 minutes into the match, INTER MIAMI's goal looked a bit too open when Fritz Futterman came free, but Monty Pepper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The attack was good, but when Fritz Futterman in the 6th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When Vernon Jarrell fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored INTER MIAMI's protests and gave Vernon Jarrell a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute, Vernon Jarrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute, Michal Rejman made a precise shot to the right of Monty Pepper. INTER MIAMI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Monty Pepper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Rodriguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Fritz Futterman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Monty Pepper having to interfere. Bradley Burroughs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Monty Pepper read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. After 24 minutes, Zachary Albert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the INTER MIAMI and the Djibouti Jujy Fruits players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th match minute, INTER MIAMI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zachary Albert to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, Pablo Rodriguez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Monty Pepper. INTER MIAMI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pablo Rodriguez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 33rd minute, Michal Rejman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Monty Pepper was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Monty Pepper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Rodriguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 44 minutes into the match, INTER MIAMI's goal looked a bit too open when Michal Rejman came free, but Monty Pepper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Monty Pepper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Rodriguez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vernon Jarrell hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. 48 minutes into the match, Djibouti Jujy Fruits's Fritz Futterman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Monty Pepper narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as Djibouti Jujy Fruits's Fritz Futterman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Monty Pepper. That made the score 0-6 after 55 minutes of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Fritz Futterman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Monty Pepper. That made the score 0-7 in the 57 minute of play. Bradley Burroughs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Monty Pepper made a huge save. Monty Pepper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fritz Futterman in the 62nd minute of play. Monty Pepper made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pablo Rodriguez in the 67th minute. After some careless play in the INTER MIAMI defense, Fritz Futterman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Monty Pepper. The INTER MIAMI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Monty Pepper should have stopped the shot. Djibouti Jujy Fruits made a substitution. Brock Coles replaced Cao Lei Yi. Monty Pepper was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Fritz Futterman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fritz Futterman really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. Monty Pepper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michal Rejman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. INTER MIAMI's Monty Pepper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michal Rejman in the 84th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Michal Rejman took a quick shot and it went in 0-10 without a chance for Monty Pepper to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in INTER MIAMI's zone, Fritz Futterman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Monty Pepper came out of the goal and Fritz Futterman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, INTER MIAMI's Monty Pepper got control of the ball when Bill Major tried to sneak it across the goal line. Djibouti Jujy Fruits played a much better game than INTER MIAMI and deserved their victory. The INTER MIAMI players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
