Karahan Uçkan might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Monty Pepper. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karahan Uçkan ran back to his position shaking his head. 5 minutes into the match, Leopoldo Sesuldo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of INTER MIAMI's Monty Pepper. Monty Pepper was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ronny Cummins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Macías Pajazo notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of INTER MIAMI's Monty Pepper. Monty Pepper was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Monty Pepper made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leopoldo Sesuldo in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Karahan Uçkan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Monty Pepper, 3-0. INTER MIAMI's Monty Pepper proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save INTER MIAMI from getting a goal against them. UC Berleley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karahan Uçkan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, INTER MIAMI's goal looked a bit too open when Macías Pajazo came free, but Monty Pepper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Karahan Uçkan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Monty Pepper. The goal made the score 4-0.

UC Berleley's Adam Yu was substituted for Gabriel Tillman. In the 53rd minute, Roscoe Hurd got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 55 minutes into the match, UC Berleley's goalkeeper D.J. McCollum had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Toby Baxter. Leopoldo Sesuldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robby Fairchild kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Roscoe Hurd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without D.J. McCollum having to interfere. After 66 minutes, Macías Pajazo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UC Berleley and the INTER MIAMI players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 66 played minutes UC Berleley got a freekick which was hit by Macías Pajazo. After 71 played minutes UC Berleley got a freekick which was hit by Macías Pajazo. McCollum made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Roland Fair sent off a good shot on target. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by UC Berleley's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Roland Fair was slow to take the kick. During this time INTER MIAMI's players had a chance to rest. Roland Fair made a great header on INTER MIAMI's corner, it was just that UC Berleley's D.J. McCollum managed to reach the ball for a save. 81 minutes into the match, Karahan Uçkan notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of INTER MIAMI's Monty Pepper. Monty Pepper was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leopoldo Sesuldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the match, INTER MIAMI's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Sesuldo came free, but Monty Pepper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. D.J. McCollum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roscoe Hurd, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Ronny Cummins blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without D.J. McCollum having to make a save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The UC Berleley fans cheered their team off the field, for while INTER MIAMI had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
