A collision led to Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Carson McPherson hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Emmanuel Finch could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Freddie Farris however easily saved by the left post. Johnathan Stubbs stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tim Davila's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Carson McPherson kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 35th match minute, Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carson McPherson to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Davila in the 38th minute of play forced Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC's goalkeeper Johnathan Stubbs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tim Davila was the one to do the kick off. Freddie Farris was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Freddie Farris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stephen Sykes, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 66th minute, Rebel Squids's Tim Davila dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Emmanuel Finch's late challenge caught a Rebel Squids's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emmanuel Finch helped the player get up and apologised. After 78 played minutes Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC got a freekick which was hit by Emmanuel Finch. In the 96th match minute, Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgilio McQueen to maneuver through the defense. Despite being the better team, Rebel Squids failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
