Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ding Mata started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Rebel Squids's Tim Davila dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 7th minute Ding Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddie Farris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Freddie Farris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ding Mata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rebel Squids's Freddie Farris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ding Mata in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wendell Rooney in the 17th minute of play forced Rebel Squids's goalkeeper Freddie Farris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Blade Coote made a precise shot to the right of Freddie Farris. Rebel Squids's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonas Alvarenga in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Freddie Farris saved Rebel Squids from getting behind. Alfredo Hartman struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Jamel Ivy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rebel Squids. Tim Davila's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jamel Ivy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Tim Davila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jamel Ivy having to interfere. Collin Landis kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Jonas Alvarenga sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Rebel Squids's Freddie Farris didn't even have to move. After 42 minutes, Anthony Correa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Universitatea7 Cluj and the Rebel Squids players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Universitatea7 Cluj getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Anthony Correa hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Alfredo Hartman made the kick off in the second half. Freddie Farris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Alvarenga, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Freddie Farris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Alvarenga in the 55th minute of play. In the 57thth minute of the game Ding Mata who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rebel Squids's Freddie Farris was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Freddie Farris didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ding Mata went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Rebel Squids's Rodrick Hardy got a free kick in the 61st minute. Freddie Farris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Alvarenga in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Hartman in the 66th minute of play forced Universitatea7 Cluj's goalkeeper Jamel Ivy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Tim Davila almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Universitatea7 Cluj's Jamel Ivy did a great save. A throw-in in the 70th minute of the game was made by Anthony Correa with Blade Coote as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Rodrick Hardy kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 77th match minute, Universitatea7 Cluj was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milo Schmitt to maneuver through the defense. Ding Mata in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Freddie Farris, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Universitatea7 Cluj's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jonas Alvarenga in the 82nd minute. Universitatea7 Cluj's Jonas Alvarenga was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Freddie Farris in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Atacan İlkut fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Universitatea7 Cluj's protests and gave Atacan İlkut a yellow card for diving instead. Atacan İlkut hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Victor Burger hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. The supporters of Rebel Squids booed when Universitatea7 Cluj was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Alvarenga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Freddie Farris was a little too slow when Jonas Alvarenga got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 2-3. After 92 played minutes Universitatea7 Cluj got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Correa. The Rebel Squids supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Universitatea7 Cluj's performance. The match ended with a win for Universitatea7 Cluj.
