Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Grant Calderon made the kick off which started today's match. Nikolas Papadamous made an important save on a dangerous shot by Grant Calderon in the 8th minute. With a little luck, Jacksonville FC's Nikolas Papadamous got control of the ball when Bennett Spence tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nikolas Papadamous was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Bennett Spence capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bennett Spence really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Ross Holliday kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Jacksonville FC's zone, Roscoe Villegas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikolas Papadamous came out of the goal and Roscoe Villegas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute, Grant Calderon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Zé Roberto Costa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Benito Morin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benito Morin came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Jacksonville FC's Zé Roberto Costa. But to his dismay, Zé Roberto Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Grant Calderon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nikolas Papadamous came out and tried to block the shot, but Grant Calderon slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 37th minute. Taylor Wiley scored 2-5 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Morin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zé Roberto Costa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Morin having to make a save. Disappointed in the 2-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Taylor Wiley to make the kick off. Nikolas Papadamous made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bennett Spence in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute, Grant Calderon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benito Morin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Healy in the 65th minute of the match. Ward Reaves hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the match, Zé Roberto Costa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Morin. Sturtevant AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zé Roberto Costa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-7. 79 minutes into the game, one of Jacksonville FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Nikolas Papadamous had in the 82ndth minute some difficulties stopping Grant Calderon's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Roy Sorenson hit a great ball. Sturtevant AFC's Benito Morin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Healy in the 90th minute of play. Benito Morin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Roberto Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Nikolas Papadamous showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bennett Spence in the 94th minute of the match. Tod Smallwood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Nikolas Papadamous tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacksonville FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
