An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Cordero in the 25th minute of play forced Cascade Park West's goalkeeper Dario Wilhelm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 played minutes Cascade Park West got a freekick which was hit by Rolland Hobbs. Dario Wilhelm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Preston Winston, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Waldo Renteria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Boyd Donnelly read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. After 33 minutes Waterbury Rangers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zoilo Doblas who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Cascade Park West's Zoilo Doblas to fire away a dangerous shot which Boyd Donnelly despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Cascade Park West were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Waterbury Rangers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zoilo Doblas took the corner. Cascade Park West's Zoilo Doblas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Boyd Donnelly in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Cordero in the 37th minute of play. Boyd Donnelly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claude Joyner, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 59th minute Claude Joyner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boyd Donnelly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Boyd Donnelly managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Cascade Park West's Amir Lee fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Boyd Donnelly successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldo Renteria in the 66th minute of play forced Waterbury Rangers's goalkeeper Boyd Donnelly to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Allen Dalton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Boyd Donnelly made a huge save.
