Lucrețiu Gherase was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dexter Holt in the 13th minute of play forced Lake Mohawk FC's goalkeeper Lucrețiu Gherase to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Panathinaikos FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by 乔光云 in the 14th minute. The supporters of Lake Mohawk FC booed when Panathinaikos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Iftodi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lake Mohawk FC's Lucrețiu Gherase played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glauco Nascimento in the 25th minute of play. In the 30th minute Dexter Holt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucrețiu Gherase saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Panathinaikos FC booed when Lake Mohawk FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl Singer didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Lake Mohawk FC's Dan Feliciano, in the 32nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Lake Mohawk FC. Lucrețiu Gherase made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Iftodi in the 33rd minute of play. Lucrețiu Gherase showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dexter Holt in the 34th minute of the match. Wilson Gold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Mario Dutton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Lake Mohawk FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Panathinaikos FC were winning 1-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dan Feliciano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Dan Feliciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucrețiu Gherase made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Paul Iftodi sent off a good shot on target. In the 58th minute of the match, Glauco Nascimento tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lucrețiu Gherase saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Paul Iftodi came free with the goalkeeper in the 59th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lucrețiu Gherase could save by the left post. Dan Feliciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucrețiu Gherase made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dexter Holt in the 63rd minute of play. Mario Dutton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Feliciano in the 65th minute of the match. Dan Feliciano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paul Iftodi got free with Lucrețiu Gherase in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lake Mohawk FC's Lucrețiu Gherase proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Lake Mohawk FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by 乔光云 in the 76th minute of play forced Lake Mohawk FC's goalkeeper Lucrețiu Gherase to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dan Feliciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Dutton having to interfere. Lucrețiu Gherase took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dexter Holt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Lake Mohawk FC's Lucrețiu Gherase got control of the ball when 乔光云 tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lucrețiu Gherase made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dexter Holt in the 84th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Panathinaikos FC's Lucrețiu Gherase threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Glauco Nascimento, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
