The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 11 minutes into the match, Saṃsāra Social Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ernie Dixon came free, but Cornelio Celipe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roman Rollins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Guifre, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thanos Sapalidis in the 18th minute of play forced Saṃsāra Social Club's goalkeeper Cornelio Celipe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roman Rollins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiën van der Bij, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Guifre in the 37th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Roman Rollins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximino Guifres short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Roman Rollins to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Maximino Guifre in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Roman Rollins, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Maximino Guifre did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Roman Rollins 66 minutes into the match. Maximino Guifres short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Roman Rollins to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Roman Rollins made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Alvaro Lartaun sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximino Guifre in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roman Rollins saved Boca Juniors from getting behind. When Saṃsāra Social Club's Maximino Guifre in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boca Juniors's goalie prevented a goal. Saṃsāra Social Club made a substitution. Young Draper replaced Shannon Woodard. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Boca Juniors's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Maximino Guifre was slow to take the kick. During this time Saṃsāra Social Club's players had a chance to rest. Boca Juniors made a substitution. Quentin Bullard replaced Thanos Sapalidis. Boca Juniors's Neil Kemp was substituted for Ernie Dixon. In the 81st match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfred Holley to maneuver through the defense. Boca Juniors made a substitution. Cyryl Karpinski replaced Tyrone Marrero. The supporters of Saṃsāra Social Club booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfred Holley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximino Guifre had several of the Boca Juniors's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 87 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-5 score and a disappointed Roman Rollins as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 94th minute, Maximino Guifre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saṃsāra Social Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6.
