After some careless play in the Boca Juniors defense, Braulio Bordat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Máté Galambos. The Boca Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Máté Galambos should have stopped the shot. Los Fresnos AFC's Braulio Bordat got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Máté Galambos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Braulio Bordats short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Máté Galambos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 20 minutes into the match, Braulio Bordat dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Máté Galambos, 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Los Fresnos AFC's Braulio Bordat slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Máté Galambos. That made the score 4-0 after 25 minutes of play. After 28 minutes, Marvin Webb mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boca Juniors and the Los Fresnos AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 29 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Rocco Cameron came free, but Máté Galambos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Braulio Bordat got free with Máté Galambos in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 37 minutes into the game, Los Fresnos AFC's Braulio Bordat nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Máté Galambos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Braulio Bordat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Máté Galambos having to make a save. 40 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Máté Galambos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Braulio Bordat. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cyryl Karpinski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Braulio Bordat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Fresnos AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Braulio Bordat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Máté Galambos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dwayne Woodward made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wally Velez in the 55th minute of play. Braulio Bordat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Máté Galambos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Virgilio Molina got a free kick in the 58th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Braulio Bordat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Fresnos AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Braulio Bordat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Máté Galambos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 63 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Bordat came free, but Máté Galambos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dwayne Woodward showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyryl Karpinski in the 64th minute of the match. Máté Galambos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braulio Bordat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Máté Galambos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, Braulio Bordat notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Boca Juniors's Máté Galambos. Máté Galambos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 77th minute, Braulio Bordat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Boca Juniors's Máté Galambos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rocco Cameron in the 81st minute of play. Chris Marion kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Braulio Bordat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 94 played minutes Los Fresnos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Eldon Triplett. Dwayne Woodward showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyryl Karpinski, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Los Fresnos AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
