Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dwight Daaga got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Point Lisas's Tony Ramjohn-Richards got a free kick in the 3rd minute. José Rougier struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Danny Chanté didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for McBean. Dwight Daaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Chanté having to interfere. Dwight Daaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Glenn Tinto kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Glenn Tinto hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. José Rougier, 17 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Glenn Tinto kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Danny Chanté didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dwight Daaga went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Don Thomas kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Nalini Moreau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darcus Ramdin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute Dwight Daaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danny Chanté saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nalini Moreau made an important save on a dangerous shot by Devant Best in the 39th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlyle Henderson during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Charles de Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot. McBean's supporters rose to their feet, but Charles de Souza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danny Chanté breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Darcus Ramdin was the one to do the kick off. When Devant Best fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Point Lisas's protests and gave Devant Best a yellow card for diving instead. Devant Best kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when McBean's Tim Holman fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 66th minute Dwight Daaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danny Chanté saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of McBean booed when Point Lisas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaiah James Baptiste didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dwight Daaga received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Danny Chanté came out and tried to block the shot, but Dwight Daaga slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 86th minute. Devant Best struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Nalini Moreau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Point Lisas. Point Lisas's Darcus Ramdin got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded McBean left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Point Lisas.
