Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Danny Chanté didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Deryck Smith went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The Williamsville SC fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Williamsville SC's Raffique Rampaul looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Williamsville SC's Gerald Ramjohn-Richards played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Devant Best in the 22nd minute of play. Ken Bissoondath hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Russel Hyland sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Williamsville SC's Gerald Ramjohn-Richards didn't even have to move. Devant Best sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Devant Best had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerald Ramjohn-Richards made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darcus Ramdin in the 40th minute of play. Danny Chanté made an important save on a dangerous shot by Deryck Smith in the 43rd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Darcus Ramdin to strike the kick off in the second half. Raffique Rampaul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Raffique Rampaul managed to get in a good position for a shot. Williamsville SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Raffique Rampaul was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danny Chanté breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Devant Best had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darcus Ramdin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Deryck Smith succeeded in the game's 77th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. 4-1 became the score in the 81st minute when Devant Best elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Jean Stalin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Point Lisas's goalkeeper Danny Chanté, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 90th minute of the match Francis Peltier sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Danny Chanté skillfully saved the ball. When Darcus Ramdin came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Point Lisas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Darcus Ramdin couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Williamsville SC's zone, Isaiah James Baptiste stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerald Ramjohn-Richards came out of the goal and Isaiah James Baptiste tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Williamsville SC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
