Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Krishna Prospect started the match with the kick off. 7 minutes into the match, Point Lisas's goalkeeper Danny Chanté had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clyde Baptiste. Point Lisas's Danny Chanté proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Point Lisas from getting a goal against them. If Darcus Ramdin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 16 minutes Point Lisas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gaskynd Holder who took care of the corner kick. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Point Lisas! Gaskynd Holder did an outstanding performance 20 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 2-0 to the right of an irritated Danny Chanté in the goal. If Geddes Bissambhar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Point Lisas's Darcus Ramdin got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Krishna Prospect fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Chanté having to interfere. Danny Chanté made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geddes Bissambhar in the 39th minute. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Geddes Bissambhar took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Danny Chanté to make any attempt to save it. Geddes Bissambhar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Danny Chanté having to make a save. The supporters of Point Lisas booed when Mayaro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krishna Prospect didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Darcus Ramdin to make the kick off. Danny Chanté showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clyde Baptiste in the 51st minute of the match. After 52 minutes, Isaiah James Baptiste mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Point Lisas and the Mayaro players grew even worse after the yellow card. Isaiah James Baptiste kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Glenn Tinto hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Adesh Doig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darcus Ramdin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Devant Best managed to get in a good position for a shot. Point Lisas's supporters rose to their feet, but Devant Best was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adesh Doig breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Adesh Doig successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Krishna Prospect in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Danny Chanté saved Point Lisas from getting behind. Danny Chanté didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geddes Bissambhar went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Geddes Bissambhar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Danny Chanté read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In the 79th minute Geddes Bissambhar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danny Chanté saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Point Lisas getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Tony Ramjohn-Richards hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, one of Mayaro:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mayaro. Geddes Bissambhar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Danny Chanté tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Devant Best had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mayaro were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Point Lisas for a fine match.
