Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cornelius Asher started the match with the kick off. Vasant Fabien showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelius Asher in the 3rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Edgar Rampersad could shoot a difficult shot in the 5th minute, which Vasant Fabien however easily saved by the left post. Edgar Rampersad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Vasant Fabien made a huge save. Cornelius Asher's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vasant Fabien read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Edgar Rampersad fired away an extremely well hit free kick, but unfortunately the ball went just outside to the right hand side of Vasant Fabien. After 18 played minutes, Brighton Stars's Isaiah James Kallipersad shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vasant Fabien came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brighton Stars reached it. Ato Millette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominic Jorsling having to interfere. Vasant Fabien took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelius Asher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to La Seiva Strikers getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Stokely Mohammed hit a great ball. Edgar Rampersad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 42 minutes, Cornelius Asher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brighton Stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cornelius Asher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, La Seiva Strikers's Vasant Fabien got control of the ball when Kareem Byron tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Harold Hamilton-Maurice to make the kick off. After 59 minutes, Eric Minshall mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Seiva Strikers and the Brighton Stars players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, La Seiva Strikers's Eric Minshall got a free kick in the 59th minute. 61 minutes into the match, La Seiva Strikers's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Rampersad came free, but Vasant Fabien reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Rampersad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Vasant Fabien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgar Rampersad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasant Fabien having to interfere. In the 69th minute of the match Isaiah James Kallipersad shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vasant Fabien showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ato Millette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominic Jorsling having to interfere. With a little luck, Brighton Stars's Dominic Jorsling got control of the ball when Ato Millette tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, La Seiva Strikers's Eric Minshall got a free kick in the 81st minute. If Cornelius Asher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgar Rampersad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasant Fabien having to interfere. With a little luck, Brighton Stars's Dominic Jorsling got control of the ball when Ato Millette tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vasant Fabien stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgar Rampersad's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. 94 minutes into the match, La Seiva Strikers's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelius Asher came free, but Vasant Fabien reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brighton Stars were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of La Seiva Strikers for a fine match.
