Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Roderick Moonilal made the kick off and thus started the match. Mohammed Rougier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Gopee-Scoon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 13 played minutes, Delaford Falcons's Khaleem Manning shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mohammed Rougier came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Delaford Falcons reached it. In the 17th minute Edgar Gopee-Scoon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohammed Rougier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Gopee-Scoon in the 19th minute of play forced San Fernando Fire's goalkeeper Mohammed Rougier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Subhas Abdul-Hamid was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Fernando Fire's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Delaford Falcons the free kick. In the 20th match minute, San Fernando Fire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Subhas Abdul-Hamid to maneuver through the defense. In the game's 21st minute Delaford Falcons's Colm Grant took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Mohammed Rougier and thus the score was 0-1. When Charles Denoon fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Delaford Falcons's protests and gave Charles Denoon a yellow card for diving instead. Kern Mohan shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Bas Mathur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevon Cummings in the 29th minute of the match. Bas Mathur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roderick Moonilal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roderick Moonilal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 40th match minute, Delaford Falcons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricky Hunte to maneuver through the defense. Kevon Cummings fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bas Mathur having to interfere. Permanand Abraham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Mohammed Rougier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Delaford Falcons were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Permanand Abraham made the kick off in the second half. Bas Mathur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevon Cummings, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 1-3 became the score in the 72nd minute when Permanand Abraham elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 76 minutes, Harold Glasgow mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Delaford Falcons and the San Fernando Fire players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a little luck, San Fernando Fire's Mohammed Rougier got control of the ball when Edgar Gopee-Scoon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mohammed Rougier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Permanand Abraham in the 82nd minute of play. If Kevon Cummings had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, San Fernando Fire's goalkeeper Mohammed Rougier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgar Gopee-Scoon. Mohammed Rougier was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Permanand Abraham capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Permanand Abraham really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Permanand Abraham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Mohammed Rougier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delaford Falcons's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
