Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Eckel Village booed when Chaguanas Strikers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennis Leslie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roger Diamond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raffique Mannette, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Standiford String Band could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Roger Diamond made a huge save. After some careless play in the Chaguanas Strikers defense, Grégory Sawh kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clyde Chambers. The Chaguanas Strikers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clyde Chambers should have stopped the shot. Roger Diamond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Standiford String Band, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute of the match Chaguanas Strikers got a corner. Eckel Village's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Raffique Mannette ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Raffique Mannette almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Eckel Village's Roger Diamond did a great save. Trent Stalin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Trent Stalin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clyde Chambers having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Standiford String Band's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roger Diamond was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. 34 minutes into the game, Raffique Mannette recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roger Diamond. Raffique Mannette showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Clyde Chambers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grégory Sawh in the 40th minute of the match. Roger Diamond was out of position in the 48 minute of play, and Krishna Bednob capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Krishna Bednob really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Trent Stalin to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Eckel Village's zone, André Sinanan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Diamond came out of the goal and André Sinanan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Krishna Bednob had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Eckel Village's Sundar Spencer slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Clyde Chambers. That made the score 2-2 after 59 minutes of play. Standiford String Band fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Diamond having to interfere. Krishna Bednob fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Diamond having to interfere. Sundar Spencer hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Roger Diamond stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Standiford String Band's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. When Grégory Sawh fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eckel Village's protests and gave Grégory Sawh a yellow card for diving instead. After 74 played minutes Eckel Village got a freekick which was hit by Grégory Sawh. When Standiford String Band came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Chaguanas Strikers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Standiford String Band couldn't finish the play. 81 minutes into the match, Chaguanas Strikers's goalkeeper Clyde Chambers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sundar Spencer. In the 85th match minute, Chaguanas Strikers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Leslie to maneuver through the defense. Roger Diamond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Standiford String Band, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
