Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Steve Elcock took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Longdenville getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Neeshan Body hit a great ball. Mikela Jeffers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Billy Chancellor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Steve Elcock got free with Darryl Ramdin in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Billy Chancellor came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the El Dorado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Billy Chancellor couldn't finish the play. Steve Elcock might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Darryl Ramdin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Steve Elcock ran back to his position shaking his head. Steve Elcock blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Darryl Ramdin having to make a save. Brian Chadee was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 22nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 24thth minute of the game Billy Chancellor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Longdenville's Mikela Jeffers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Longdenville's Steve Elcock slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Darryl Ramdin. That made the score 1-0 after 29 minutes of play. El Dorado's Billy Chancellor got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Mervyn Jagdeosingh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Longdenville's Mikela Jeffers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billy Chancellor in the 45th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Charles Thompson during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Billy Chancellor was the one to do the kick off. Leonard Harris blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Darryl Ramdin having to make a save. Leonard Harris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Darryl Ramdin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Billy Chancellor struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Mikela Jeffers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Dorado. If Leonard Harris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 65th minute Steve Elcock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darryl Ramdin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Longdenville getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Jamaal Spencer hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Mervyn Jagdeosingh kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mikela Jeffers. That made the score 2-1 in the 72 minute of play. Billy Chancellor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute of the match Jamaal Spencer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Darryl Ramdin skillfully saved the ball. Darryl Ramdin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steve Elcock in the 81st minute of play. If Leonard Harris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerald Shakes's late challenge caught a Longdenville's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerald Shakes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th minute, Gerald Shakes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to El Dorado getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Charles Thompson hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the match, Longdenville's Samuel Shah broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Steve Elcock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of El Dorado booed when Longdenville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neeshan Body didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Longdenville had won after a very even match.
