Roger Ince's late challenge caught a FC Nacional's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roger Ince helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Orange Valley Fire's Roger Ince got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, Lucas Beltran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Basdeo Mohammed was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 0-3 became the score in the 19th minute when Lucas Beltran elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Enrique Rayman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basdeo Mohammed took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Güray Altunışık, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Basdeo Mohammed stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucas Beltran's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. The audience was convinced that Lucas Beltran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Basdeo Mohammed was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. FC Nacional's Paolo Ramkisson got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Lucas Beltran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Trevor Assoon hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After the first half FC Nacional were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Orange Valley Fire's Basdeo Mohammed proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Orange Valley Fire from getting a goal against them. Lucas Beltrans short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Basdeo Mohammed to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Orange Valley Fire's zone, Güray Altunışık stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basdeo Mohammed came out of the goal and Güray Altunışık tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Nacional's goalkeeper Cipriano Virila, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Stephen Thompson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Nacional made a substitution. Scott Garcia replaced Bertie Wolfe. The supporters of FC Nacional booed when Orange Valley Fire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trevor Assoon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orange Valley Fire's Basdeo Mohammed played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Beltran in the 79th minute of play. Occah Daaga's late challenge caught a FC Nacional's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Occah Daaga helped the player get up and apologised. After 79 played minutes Orange Valley Fire got a freekick which was hit by Occah Daaga. Lucas Beltran came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Basdeo Mohammed could save by the left post. The FC Nacional fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when FC Nacional's Güray Altunışık looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Orange Valley Fire fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Nacional were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
