Senen Larramendi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vigil Viñaspre in the 57th minute of play. After 58 played minutes Arecutacue got a freekick which was hit by Ordono Dieguez. Quinto Chumacero struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Senen Larramendi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguaya. Vigil Viñaspre might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Senen Larramendi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
