Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joanes Serra started the match with the kick off. If Joanes Serra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 5 minutes into the match, Laureles AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Andy Ceceil came free, but Nevada Perdomo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes into the game, Vasco Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Nereo Casiano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Santiago FC's zone, Oalo Anievas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nereo Casiano came out of the goal and Oalo Anievas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 13 played minutes Santiago FC got a freekick which was hit by Pio Paracuellos. In the 17th minute, Oalo Anievas fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Andy Ceceil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Nevada Perdomo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oalo Anievas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Casiano having to interfere. Nereo Casiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oalo Anievas, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Nevada Perdomo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andy Ceceil in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Godofredo Fandiño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oalo Anievas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Oalo Anievas made the kick off in the second half. Oalo Anievas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Vasco Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lordi Albornoz kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Santiago FC's Andy Ceceil got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Santiago FC's Joanes Serra in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Laureles AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Nereo Casiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasco Sancho in the 65th minute of play. Vasco Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nereo Casiano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Santiago FC's Joanes Serra got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oalo Anievas in the 74th minute of play forced Santiago FC's goalkeeper Nereo Casiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Oalo Anievas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laureles AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Oalo Anievas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nereo Casiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nereo Casiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasco Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Santiago FC's Andy Ceceil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nevada Perdomo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lordi Albornoz hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oalo Anievas in the 90th minute of play forced Santiago FC's goalkeeper Nereo Casiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nevada Perdomo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joanes Serra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santiago FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
