Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Esteban Basozabal started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Canete AFC's Tito Rujido got control of the ball when Xuaco Costoya tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edelira's Bautista Roales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Basozabal in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Basozabal in the 7th minute of play forced Edelira's goalkeeper Bautista Roales to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Modesto Sagarribay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esteban Basozabal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14thth minute of the game Esteban Basozabal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Edelira's Bautista Roales was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tito Rujido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urtun Calderero in the 18th minute of the match. After having played for 21 minutes, Xuaco Costoya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Edelira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xuaco Costoya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Xuaco Costoya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the game, one of Edelira:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Xuaco Costoya could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Tito Rujido made a huge save. Tito Rujido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urtun Calderero, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Modesto Sagarribay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canete AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Modesto Sagarribay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bautista Roales breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Urtun Calderero made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Esteban Basozabal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bautista Roales was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. A collision led to Canete AFC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Modesto Sagarribay hit a great ball. Tito Rujido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urtun Calderero in the 63rd minute of the match. Bautista Roales didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Modesto Sagarribay went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Canete AFC! The referee gave Edelira a penalty, 74 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Roberto Ceberiche, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Canete AFC's Tito Rujido. 1-2. In the 77th minute, Cerilo Munibe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Edelira's Silvestre Loayza got a free kick in the 81st minute. Urtun Calderero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Tito Rujido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xuaco Costoya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Efraim Traspuesto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 99th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tito Rujido. Canete AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Canete AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
